*Open internationally to secondary students in their junior or senior year (3rd or 4th year)
Example: a summer camp at our campus for girls interested in Physics.
Example: decreasing air pollution, carbon capture, ocean protection, improving water quality, etc..
Example: more dance classes in schools, more recesses, more outdoor time for students, fitness trails, senior playgrounds, etc..
Example: Making sure everyone in town is a 10 minute walk or short bus ride away from healthy food.
Some of these ideas could fit into more than one division. For example, a senior outdoor playground could be both in "Wellness or Fitness" or "Evansville's Promise Zone" if you recommend the playground in the Zone. You will need to choose which one best represents your idea.
Instructions on how to submit your idea will be emailed to you after you register.
Submit an up to 2 minute video about your idea (reminder, individual entries only).
You will deliver a 5 minute pitch to judges for your division.
The University of Evansville will be hosting virtual trainings, identifying the costs of your idea, and more. All registered students will receive information about these trainings. Check the timeline for dates - the first is on December 18th. We will also connect you to our students and faculty who can provide feedback. We are here to help you succeed!
